  1. WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?

    Mail Bell does not ask user to provide any personal information. It is an email notification browser extensions, user must already own an email account to be able to use the program.

    However, for Mail Bell to provide useful service, it needs to access user's email data. Specifically, it reads the following data from user's email provider.

    1. Email address
    2. First name
    3. Profile picture
    4. Email headers, including "from", "to", "cc", "subject", "date" and the email body snippet.
    5. Email labels

    Mail Bell also offers functionality to manage incoming emails, including mark email as read, archive email, mark email as spam, move email into trash and star email. Such functionality requires write access to user's email account.

  2. WILL YOUR INFORMATION BE SHARED WITH ANYONE?

    No. Mail Bell runs inside of the user's web browser, all user data are stored within the browser. Data is not send to anyone as we do not operate any server-side components.

  3. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?

    Information is kept in your browser for as long as necessary to permit Mail Bell's operation.

  4. DO WE COLLECT INFORMATION FROM MINORS?

    We do not knowingly collect data from or market to children under 18 years of age.

  5. WHAT ARE YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS?

    Mail Bell does not request user to provide personal data, user's privacy rights are provided by user's email service provider.

  6. CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES

    We do not track user's activities.

  7. DO WE MAKE UPDATES TO THIS POLICY?

    Yes, we will update this policy as necessary to stay compliant with relevant laws. The updated version will be indicated by an updated “Revised” date and the updated version will be effective as soon as it is accessible.
